Music for the soul

It was celebration worth remembering. Saraswati Music College, affiliated to Prayag Sangeet Samit, Allahabad, organised a music and dance function in New Delhi to celebrate the completion of its 84 years.

The show also aimed to promote the cultural exchange between India and Uzbekistan, as the school is set to open a branch that country soon.

Inaugurated by Ustad Amjad Ali Khan, the show saw a welcome dance by Ruchi Saini, which was followed by a cultural performance by performers from Uzbekistan.
