Festival of music and dance


‘Vasantolsavam,’ a six-day festival of music and dance, organised jointly by the Tourism Department, District Administration and District Tourism Promotion Council, is on at the Durbar Hall Ground, Ernakulam.

Noted ghazal singer Talat Aziz will perform on December 27. This will be followed by three days of dance. Mohiniattam by Deepti Omcheri Bhalla (December 28), Kuchipudi by Vyjayanthi Kashi (Dec. 29) and Bharatanatyam by Malavika Sarukkai (Dec 30).


The event will end on Dec. 31 with a jugalbandi by Pandit Viswamohan Bhat and Ravi Kiran. All the programmes begin at 6.30 p.m.
