New Year resolutions are in reality akin to a politician’s promise in that often they are easy to make but difficult to fulfill. If one is sincere about doing good things then there is absolutely no need to wait for anything like auspicious time or day. It should be our endeavour to always be compassionate to fellow human beings. At the national level, the New Year should bring prosperity to our farmers all over the country, our society should be corruption-free and our nation free from hunger and poverty.
