Delicious Cakes getting ready ahead of New Year

If you are a diehard chocoholic and just can’t resist the creamy dollops of cakes, you would surely not prefer to miss out on this one! Bagels have put up a veritable cakes feast for the New Year with dozens of delicious rich flavours. There ar e about 40 varieties of pastries with 10 new flavours specially introduced for the New Year.

The specialties include rich dry fruit gateau sprinkled with a liberal assortment of almonds, dry dates, cashew and walnuts, marquise pastry which is a rich combination of chocolate and butter and fresh fruit gateau loaded with litchi, kiwi, orange and pineapple.

Chocolaty extravaganza

Your senses will be invaded by all things chocolate — the soft and spongy juicy cake, the Bagel’s special chocolate pastry and choco-almond cake, the fresh whipped cream melting in your mouth, the chocolate sauce in between that add that tangy twist to the concoctions. There’s cherry and chocolate sauce floating around your pastry, inviting you to lick it off your fingers! If you are a chocolate lover, don’t miss the syrupy layers of the Bagel’s special chocolate cake.

The chocolaty extravaganza is going to drive you crazy. The sensuous feel of the melting creams in your mouth makes you crave for more.

You must, however hang out your dieting coat and reasoning hat before you step into this place, and simply succumb to the sinful sumptuous creamy delights.

New Year special

The highlight of New Year special cakes is the tier cakes that come in a wide range of designs. Up to six tier cakes can be ordered. The special offers for the season include instant delivery on order and also a special discount on orders placed before 2008. “We have received a terrific response for our tier-cakes and the special varieties of cakes too have become immensely popular.

In Christmas we sold out 400 cakes in just two days,” said Pradeep Kattamuri of Bagels. The store will be celebrating its first anniversary in a big way on December 30. Nearly 400 varieties of cakes will be displayed on the occasion and a special party hall will be inaugurated on that day. Chef Anish Kumar has much more surprises in store for the visitors in the form of combination cake and pastry flavours.

“We are also planning a cake festival in the month of January where newer varieties of cakes will be introduced,” said Pradeep.

But be prepared to handle the addictive high after the indulgence.
