The Theosophical Publishing House holds a book exhibition till December 31, including Sunday, at its premises in Besant Avenue (ph: 24911338 or 24466613) and at its Adyar Bookshop (ph: 24463442), opposite Malar Hospitals. The event coincides with the
Theosophical Society’s 132nd annual International Convention at its headquarters in Adyar.
During the convention, books of the Theosophical Publishing House and the Adyar Library and Research Centre are sold at 33 per cent discount and publications of Quest Books, US, at 20 per cent discount. The books cover varied subjects such as eastern and western philosophy, religions, meditation, yoga, music, occultism and spirituality. The authors include Annie Besant, H. P. Blavatsky, H. S. Olcott, Bhagavan Das, George Arundale, J. Krishnamurti and Radha Burnier.
More than 1,000 titles are on display. Also available are audio and video cassettes, CDs and greeting cards.
