On Nature’s trail
Through the Road Less Travelled column, Metroplus has introducers readers to hitherto unknown places of interest (Just nature and you, December 24). Ezhuthugal Pudur, which is just about 60 km from Coimbatore, seems ideal for a weekend outing.
Pet corner serves a wonderful purpose. I wish the PFA success in finding homes for all abandoned pups.

Shopping fest
All the articles on The Hindu Metroplus Lifestyle Show were useful for people for me, who were able to directly check out what we wanted to buy, without having to search for the stalls.

Interesting Dreams
‘Mind television’ (December 20) was an interesting read. ‘Mwah-Mwah? No thank you!’(same issue) was hilarious. ‘Of life and luck’(‘Sound off’, December 22) was purposeful as it brought out the difficulties one faces during power cuts. ‘Doing thayir saadam proud’ (December 20) was a tribute to South Indian dishes.

Informative
Interesting anecdotes and quotations from the renowned psychologist Sigmund Freud and other contemporary psychiatrists made the article, ‘Mind television’, very informative.
