A lovey-dovey couple Bharat couldn’t take his eyes off his ladylove
Although behind schedule by over an hour, film actress Bhumika sprung up a surprise to many by arriving at an inaugural function held in the city recently, holding the hand of her hubby dear, the renowned yoga guru Bharat Thakur.
While men could not take their eyes off the petite beauty who looked ravishing in a snuff colour Punjabi suit with lots of embroidery and sequin work, the fairer sex feasted its eyes on the hunk accompanying the actress. Clad in black-and-black, the debonair Thakur raised equal amount of inquisitiveness among the crowd.
Walking past heavy police bandobust made to prevent any possible trouble by over-enthusiastic fans, the couple was all smiles acknowledging their presence by waving at them.
Pent-up emotions of her fans emerged in the form of catcalls of “Bhumika I love you’ and ‘Happy New Year Bhumi” from behind the make-shift shamiyana. But the shrewd organisers lost no time in altering the catcalls into compliments. “The fan following only goes to show the popularity of the actress,” observed one of the organisers prompting the small audience of selected guests to break into a fresh round of applause.
The internationally renowned ‘spiritual master’ that Thakur is, he managed to cater slots, albeit intermittently, to meditate apparently in his newly-acquired style, i.e. by turning over in his mind to his pretty woman who was object of public admiration. After conducting meditation workshops, yoga training sessions for groups and individuals, corporate yoga workshops all over the world, the ‘spiritual master’ must have mastered the art of enduring moments of resentment when obsessive fans express their pent-up emotions for the lovely actress.
Bharat Thakur has also founded Artistic Yoga, an experimental yet extremely powerful system of yoga that is said to have improved and changed people’s lives in powerful, subtle and unexpected ways. Who else will know this better than Bharat Thakur.
