The second edition

The Hyderabad Film Festival’s (HIFF) second edition of International Film Festival, will begin tomorrow. The screenings will be held at Prasadz and will feature films from France, Korea, Japan, Iran, China, South Africa, Israel, Turkey, Algeria, Sri Lanka, Poland and the U.S, to mention a few.

Like in the first year, this festival too will have a competitive section for documentaries. The films to be screened are divided into different categories - World Cinema, Indian Cinema, Telugu Popular Cinema, Comedy Films, North-East Films, Finnish Frames,

The Cuban Five, Russian Roulette, Cinema in Turkey, Homage to Ingmar Bergman, Antonioni and Mahajan. The country in focus this year is Hungary and a special retrospective in memory of the Korean film director In Kwon-Taek.
