On the field

In football the girls are doing well. So we have decided to start academies for coaching girls from various districts. Tamil Nadu gives at least two players every year to the national team, therefore, I hope in 2008 we get a sports hostel for them. T here is a sports hostel in Mayiladuthurai. The hostel for women could be added to that. In hockey, we had many teams and tournaments and after, Chak De, many girls called in to enrol for training. This year, there should be more job opportunities to encourage girls.
