Food and fun fiesta

A carnival to raise funds for a cause

Sakhi Saheli, an organisation formed by 17 housewives, will organise a fun and food fiesta on January 20 on the grounds of Shri Nehru Vidyalaya MHSS, R. S. Puram. The event includes drawing and painting competitions for children between eight and 13 years, a colouring contest (5-7 years), mehendi competitions, cookery contest and fancy dress contest. There is also a fashion show and tambola.

The carnival begins at 3 p.m., while the competitions will be conducted from 9 a.m. The last date to send your entries is January 12. The money generated from the event will be donated to the Oncology department of Sri Ramakrishna Hospital.
