Launch New perspectives on teaching come to light

Alison Richard, the Vice Chancellor of Cambridge University, recently launched the book “Reflections on Teaching, Today and Tomorrow”, in Delhi at The Maurya.
Simon Lebus, CEO, Cambridge Assessment Group, Ann Puntis, CEO, University of Cambridge International Examinations (CIE), Ashok Ganguly, Chairman, Central Board of Secondary Education and other representatives attended the occasion. The event unfolded with a speech by Shweta Bahri, a student at Cambridge University on her personal perspective on education. Simon Lebus made a speech on the importance and advantages of introducing programmes in India.
Paul Beedle, Manager, Professional Development Qualifications gave his views on the book.
The closing remark was made by Dr Gordon Johnson, Chairman of the CUP Syndicate. The evening finally ended on a musical note with a performance by Artistes Unlimited.
For teachers
Puntis on being asked about the recent tie-up with Amity International School replied that the programmes which they offered were meant for teachers.
These programmes will help teachers to enhance their practice by becoming more resourceful and versatile.
She also stated that till date there are around 150 schools in India where the programmes offered by them are running effectively.
