Rain havoc: Voice your views

Preventive measures

Stringent preventive measures need to be taken to overcome effects of natural disasters like floods. Underground drainage facilities, maintenance of manhole covers etc are important. In Tiruchi, especially near Main Guard Gate and Central Bus Stand, there is no proper drainage facility. The water stagnates and stinks. Many manhole covers are left open causing obstacle and also increasing risk for pedestrians.
