Pet carnival
Time to flaunt your pets. Pet Carnival, a show for all pets will be held at 10.30 a.m. on January 13 (Sunday) at S.V. Nagar Vidhyalaya Matriculation School, located at Vignesha Nagar (between Edayarpalayam and Vadavalli). An exotic birds’ exhib
ition will also be held. You can bring your dogs, cats, birds, fishes and even goats. For dogs, the categories are puppy (three to 12 months); junior (13 to 36 months) and adult (36 months and above). Each category will have three prizes. It is open competition for other pets. There are lots of prizes to be won, including Best Bird, and Best Pet-and-Owner relationship.
Entry is Rs. 100 for dogs and cats, and Rs. 50 for the other pets. Rs. 30 more for spot entries. Entry forms are available at all pet shops in Coimbatore. Entry is free for children aged below ten. Two persons are permitted for one entry ticket.
