Dastkar Andhra Maketing Association (DAMA) is back with its annual Sankranti mela from January 9 to 13 at the Zoroastrian club from 10.30 a.m. to 8 p.m. DAMA works with more than 35 co-operatives in various districts of Andhra Pradesh. This festive season, DAMA offers a special discount to encourage the new weaver groups.

Khadi varieties in vegetable dyes - Kuppadam three shuttle borders in yardage, saris and dupattas woven with mugha thread and cotton thread from Ponduru and Singupuram in Srikakulam district, traditional vat indigo and natural dyed plain, stripes, and checks and textured thick fabrics from Chennuru in Adilabad district, Kalamkari prints on kora and coloured fabric in different product varieties will be available.
