Of two collections of designer wear

Ushering in spring in the city are two exhibitions at Apparao Infinity, 7, Wallace Gardens, Third Street. In exuberant colours, flowery prints and peacock feather motifs, embellished with gota, sequins and chamki, the “Ruh”, ready-to-wear
line includes fabrics such as mull, cotton and khadi. There are also jewel-toned saris in georgette and chiffon. Pooja Singhal’s ready-to-wear line spells young and trendy elegance. Her tops run the gamut from strappy, short-sleeved tops to demure kurtas. The exhibition closes on January 13.
The second exhibition, Blossom by Imprints, includes Bhagalpur tussar, Chanderi and Maheswari saris, salwar kurta fabrics with matching dupattas. The tussar has self-stripes highlighted with gold motifs. The exhibition opens on January 14.
