Director Ram teaches his craft


Cinema Club of Coimbatore and Montage Institute of Filmmaking are jointly organising a three-day workshop on film direction from January 15 to 17.

The workshop will be handled by Ram, director of the much feted ‘Katrathu Tamizh”. The event will be held at the Cinema Club of Coimbatore premises (3 B, Sri Nagar, Hope College, Peelamedu, Coimbatore – 4)

The workshop is limited to 20 members.

As part of it, members will be taken location scouting, and will shoot there. Plans are on to allow the participants to jointly directly a short film under Ram’s guidance.

Each student will be provided with a participation certificate from Cinema Club of Coimbatore. For details, contact 94435-78887.
