Mysskin scores again
Young heroes Prasanna, Vishal, Dhanush and the hero of the film Narain were present at Four Frames studio for the audio CD release of “Anjaathe” directed by Mysskin.
Directors S.A. Chandrasekar, Kadir, Kalaipuli Sekar and others from the Tamil film industry were also present.
Vijayalakshmi, daughter of director Agathiyan who had starred in “Chennai 600028”, is the heroine of the film. There are ten songs in the album. The music is scored by Sundar C. Babu, son of veena maestro Chittibabu. This audio album has been launched by Hit Music. The best songs are sung by director Mysskin. The first is ‘Acham Thavir’, written by Bharathiar. The lyrics have been set to a simple melody. The other one is ‘Kannadasan Karaikudi’, a ‘koothu’ song. The lyrics written by Kabilan are meaningful. Another song written by the same lyricist is ‘Kathazha Kannaale’ sung by Naveen Madhav. ‘Manasukkul’ written by Priyan and sung by Swetha is good. This is the first time that an album has five small pieces that are purely instrumental. Two are titled as Love Theme 1 and 2.
Besides there is a Good Vs Evil Theme. Bharathiar’s song ‘Veenaiyadi Nee Enakku’ is tuned and sung by Sundar C. Babu and there are the violin and cello versions of the song as well.
