Bangalore University releases its annual edition of the Gandhi calendar, a collector’s item

The Bangalore University’s Centre for Gandhian Studies has released its Gandhi calendar for 2008 on the theme “Mahatma — The True Spirit of a Nation”.
The Centre for Gandhian Studies has been publishing unique Gandhi calendars for the last four years.
The photographs used in the calendar are rare black-and-white pictures depicting the Mahatma in unusual moods.
In addition, landmarks in Gandhiji’s life are highlighted against each month in the calendar.
At the bottom of each page of the calendar are ‘Quotable Quotes’ of the Mahatma.
The calendar has been conceptualised, designed and printed by Sudesh Mahan and U.T. Suresh.
Thisis surely a calendar one would likely to treasure and preserve. It has some of the best archival pictures and has been designed greatly too.
