Living it up in style



Launch of L’Aperitif magazine

The lovers of good wine can taste a wide range of it collected from across the world at the 6th India International Food and Wine Show that winds up this Saturday at Intercontinental The Grand in New Delhi. The three-day show was formally unvei led along with the launch of L’ Aperitif, a magazine. The chief guest was the Ambassador of Italy in India, Antonio Armellino.

Exhibition

The festival showcases an exotic exhibition of gourmet foods, wines and beverages from across the globe. Among the attractions is the Vinitaly India workshop on Italian wines, held along with the event.

Besides, the focus of the show this year is on a host of quality food and wine tasting sessions by experts, as well as seminars and presentations that offer a number of unique opportunities for wine promotion in India, one of the world’s largest markets now. Over a hundred participants from across the globe are taking part in the event, including those from well-known wine producers like France, Italy, South Africa, Germany, Portugal, Spain, Singapore, the U.S., India and others. Of special interest at the show are the fabled Tokai wines from Hungary.

Another highlight this year is the participation of industry majors including Pernord Ricard, the UB group and Indage.
