Oye! It’s YoYo time
Okay, this is going to get all YoYo lovers really excited. Oxford Bookstore and Cha Bar is hosting a live demonstration of the very popular toy on January 23 (Wednesday). If that was not enough, there’s a competition too to determine who is cap
able of exhibiting the best YoYo trick.

A play with a heart
Sathkarya Charitable Trust is organising a play, Plastic Kadavul, by United Visuals, Chennai. The drama, directed and acted by TV Varadarajan and written by C V Chandramohan, has received good reviews, and it promises to bring in the laughs here too. Proceeds from the event will go to fund the construction of an old age home, ‘Sree Daya’. The show is on January 25 (Friday) at Corporation Kalaiarangam, R. S. Puram, at 6 p.m. Tickets are priced at Rs. 300, Rs. 200 and Rs. 100.
