DVD on Lanka

A way to discover the island

A 40-minute travel DVD released by Sri Lanka Tourism takes you over the hills and the valleys, into forests and parks, tells you about animals, people and life, places near and far, festivals and beliefs, all captured artistically.

The DVD presented by Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation in collaboration with A De Z, offers a pictorial message on life, beauty, pomp and pageantry that is Sri Lankan. The video also features sight-seeing and cultural travelogues and guides to places with simple destination information, excursions, souvenirs, tourist attractions and shops.

The outstanding feature is the seven UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Sri Lanka. The travel DVD also comprises a handy booklet, an ideal guide for travellers, travel agents, and tour operators.
