Sizzlers and steaks vie for your attention at Vasant Continental’s restro-bar, Eggspectation

Tempting The sizzler and steak festival is on until February 2
It’s celebration time for food lovers again. Eggspectation, a 24x7 multi-cuisine restaurant at Jaypee Vasant Continental in New Delhi, is running a promotional stint on sizzlers and steaks which will be on till February 2.
The menu offers a wide range of tempting and holistic dishes, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian, like prawns with garlic and wine, pink salmon with citrus butter, tequila lime spring chicken, barbeque chicken drumsticks, chilli stir-fried vegetables with noodles and garlic sauce, potato roesti with mushroom ragout and many more.
Grilled items
There is also an array of grilled items to choose from which is served with corn on the cob and potatoes or rice with a choice of sauces. Soups and desserts are served as complimentary dish on an order of sizzler. The price ranges from Rs.545 to 845.
Shyam Sunder, Senior Chef-de-partie says, “During such promotional events we entertain more guests than usual, mainly during lunch and dinner hours. There is a big rush during these two times of the day. And during such events, our revenue increases by almost 20 per cent.”
The regular menu of this restro-café also has a wide range of tantalising dishes to offer. Though Italian cuisine is its speciality, Oriental dishes are served too.
There are also as many as 140 dishes with egg as one of the main ingredients. Certainly not beyond Eggspectation!
