The much-awaited small car Nano of the Tatas sure stole the thunder at the recent Auto Expo. But for those with a penchant for vehicles in the MUV segment, and that too with a bit of luxury, International Cars and Motors Limited (ICML) had some heart
ening news; it just launched its upgraded version of Rhino in the Capital.
With its high calibre MG Rover diesel engine fully compatible with Bharat Stage III emission norms, the latest version of rhino Rx offers plush luxurious interiors. It also boasts of being the country’s most advanced, most powerful and most fuel efficient MUV in its class.
Rhino Rx has a 2000 CC with inline four-cylinder common rail direct injection intercooled turbocharged engine, cranking the maximum power of 110bhp@3600rpm with a maximum torque of 220Nm@2400rpm. With its great pick up 0-100 in 16.5 sec, Rhino Rx has maximum cruising speed of 160 km per hour. With its 15-17 kilometre per litre, the vehicle is touted as the most fuel-efficient vehicle in its category.
The vehicle, which comes in three variants in the category S1, S2 and DLX, has the best in the class features with Nightingale Technology based instrument cluster. The vehicle has also a new age aerospace steering wheel for smooth driving. Available in both single AC as well as dual AC models the prices start from Rs.6 lakhs onwards, ex-showroom.
