At the cassette release function K.J. Yesudas, S. Janaki, Sirkazhi Sivachidambaram, Pulavar Pulamaipithan, Muthulingam and M.S. Viswanathan did the honours of releasing the CD of the film "Ayyavazhi" produced and directed by P.C. Anbazhagan.
The music is scored by Bhagavathisivanesan. Pulavar Pulamaipithan said, "Old is gold. I request music directors not remix originals."
The album contains 10 songs and the best in the album is `Vanaveli Engum' written by Pulamaipithan and sung by Bhagavathisivanesan and Malasiya Sarumathi.
The music director has rendered the song beautifully.
The second best song `Vanam Boomi' written by Muthulingam is also sung by Bhagavathisivanesan with Chitra.
The other good numbers include `Engum Nirainthavale' written by Manibharathi and `Vaikunda Natha' written by Bhagavathisivanesan. Both are sung commendably by K.J. Yesudas.
`Aele Mandiravathi' written by Parinamam is sung by Chitra and Pushpavanam Kuppusamy.
This has a folk beat but Chitra's voice sounds different. Short songs include one sung by S. Janaki, Sirkazhi Sivachidambaram, Vignesh, Rajashree, Sabeetha, Sudhavalli, and Kavitha.
The lyrics are by Nanchil P.C. Anpazhagan and from Agilathiratu Agamam. The music is brought out by Rhythm music.
