Big summer release
Oscar Ravichandran, producer of the big-budget Kamal Hassan extravaganza “Dasavatharam” in which the actor appears in 10 roles, has officially announced that the film will be released on April 10. Says Ravichandran: “The best time to release a big film like “Dasavatharam” worldwide is summer, and it will open simultaneously in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. It will be aggressively marketed after the audio launch in the first week of March.” As of now, the film is in post production with CG work going on. The news is that Himmesh Reshamaiah, who directs the music, will not be doing the BGM and re-recording as he has now become a busyBollywood actor! But this is nothing to worry about, as the hot and happening music director of the South, Devi Sri Prasad is going to do the re-recording.
