PURE RHYTHM Mizhavil Pancharimelam

Chakyarkoothu by Ammannur Kuttan Chakyar, (Jan 26), Kalamandalam Radhakrishnan (Jan 28), Nangiarkoothu by Kalamandalam Girija (Jan 26), Kapila (Jan 27), the Koodiyattam, plays to be staged are Balivadham by Kalamandalam Group (Jan 26), Soorpanakam by Ammannur Chachu Chakyar Smaraka Gurukulam, Irinjalakuda, (Jan 27) Naganandam by Kalamandalam Krishnakumar and Thoranayudham by Nepathya, Moozhikulam (Jan 28) are some of the main programmes slated for the festival.

Among the other events scheduled are Mizhavil Pancharimelam by Kalamandalam Ishwaranunni and group (Jan 27), seminars, and discussions.

Tygaraja Aradhana and Pancharatna Kirtanalapana, organised by the Sree Poornathrayeesa Sangeetha Sabha, will be held at the Rugmini Ramakrishna Kalyanamandapam, Tripunithura, on January 27 at 4.30 p.m.

This will be followed by a Carnatic vocal concert by Vanaja Shankar. She will be accompanied on the violin by R. Swaminathan, on the mridangam by Mevida Jayan, on the ghatam by Alappuzha Gopinatha Prabhu and on the moorsing by Thamarakudi R. Rajasekharan.

A Hospitality Management Seminar will be held at the Rajiv Gandhi Indoor Stadium, Kochi, on January 30 at 9.30 a.m. A three-day Hospitality Trade Show that will showcase hotel, restaurant equipments and services, will be held from January 30-February 1.
