Children’s special

“The Golden Compass”, a children’s film with fantastic CGI effects, which was to have been released for Christmas released last week along with its dubbed version in Tamil, “Thanga Disaikatti”. The highlight is the superb performance of Dakota Blue, the child who goes to North Pole to save her friends from a group of mysterious kidnappers led by Nicole Kidman, who plays a negative role. Daniel Craig (who plays the new James Bond) appears in a cameo role. The film is full of daemons, witches and magic; and good finally triumphs over evil.
