Gandhi Sandesh Sangeethanjali, five compositions by Poornathrayee Jayaprakash on Mahatma Gandhi, his thoughts and philosophy, will be presented at a function to be held at the Tripunithura Municipality Layam Ground, on January 30, Martyr’s Day at 2.30 p.m.

The function will be inaugurated by Sukumar Azhikode and K. S. Radhakrishnan, Vice-Chancellor, Sri Sankara Sanskrit University, will deliver the keynote address.

Noted Gandhian and freedom fighter Madhavan Eriyat will be honoured at the function.

This will be followed by the musical tribute to the Mahatma by teachers and students of RLV Music Academy, and NSS Higher Secondary School, Tripunithura.
