ON A MUSICAL TRIP At the launch
The South Indian Film Chamber auditorium was filled with members from the Tamil film industry. V.P. Duraisamy, Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Assembly released the audio of Matha Creations “Thalaikizh” which was received by Abirami
Ramanathan, music director Deva, Anbalaya Prabhakaran and Kalipuli Sekaran. Speaking on the occasion Duraisamy said that he had the opportunity to hear the songs and enjoyed them very much. Athish Uthiriyan is the film’s music director.“ “Thalaikizh” is produced by Dharanian and the lead actor is new find Rakesh. There are two heroines Thejamai and Nivetha. The story, screenplay, dialogue, lyrics and direction are by Rexraj. The CD’s are launched by SMP audio.
There are five songs in the album and the best one is ‘Veetukule Ulagam Irukku’ sung by Srinivas. His voice is soothing and suits the melodious song. But the effect of the song is lost because of the lyrics, which are not up to the mark. The second best in the album is ‘Good morning Tamizh Nadu’ sung by Harish Ragavender. ‘Perusu Perusu’ sung by Karthik is another nice number. He teams up with Mahathi for ‘Kattika Kattika’. Both of them have rendered the song well.
