A hair and fashion show today at Sivagami Pethachi Auditorium

The Association of Hairdressers and Beauticians of India (H&B India) presents Schwarzkopf Hair Extravaganza 2008, a hair and fashion show, today at Sivagami Pethachi Auditorium (M.Ct.M School Complex, Luz Church Road, Mylapore).
Nayana Karunaratne, president, Asia Zone – World Federation of Hairdressers and Advisor of H&B India, says, “This is the first time such a massive show for the hair industry is being held. Designed to display the talent of H&B India’s members, the event will celebrate the first anniversary of H&B India.”
The event will showcase the trends in the hair and beauty industry in several rounds such as cuts and colour, curl and swirls, hairstyles, men’s styles, kids in vogue, fantasy creations, stage makeup, fantasy makeup and bridal makeup.
Choreographed by Geraldine Bandaranaike from Sri Lanka, the show will see 50 models comprising men, women and kids present the styles.
The fashion show will be preceded by a power point presentation on the Indian beauty industry and future plans of H&B India for the Indian market.
