Perhaps Venus knew that a free CD with this pack will win a few listeners. Still it’s not easy to make this two-CD pack a success. The songs in the album include old numbers such as “Tum Hi Hamari Ho Manzil My Love”, “Bahut P
yar Karte Hain”, “Mana Ho Tum” and “My Heart is Beating”, “Pyar Manga Hai Tumhi Se”. A song already popular and set in a style unsuitable for the fast-paced techno music should not be taken up for remix.
How on earth can somebody try to remix “Bahut Pyar Karte Hain” or “Sagar Jaisi Aankhon Wali”? Similarly “My Heart is Beating” and “Hum Tumhe Chahte Hain Aise” are so perfectly paced in their original form that they don’t require a remix. However, no complaints about “Tum Hi Hamari Manzil” or “Pyar Manga Hai”, songs that didn’t last in the public memory. Besides, their structure is suitable for remix. As for the voice quality, one hardly gets to hear DJ Sheizwood, Vaishali Burman and Rohan in these club mixes because the music is too loud.
