Ban

Jalikattu is an ancient game practised mostly in villages like Alanganallur. It is a game that enables the young and strong dominate a bull. Youngsters in their rush of blood and spirit do not realise the ill-effects of this game. Often participants are grievously injured. Animals are tortured illegally. It will be good if the Government decides to ban the game.
