FitnessOne which runs fitness training centres in Chennai, Coimbatore and Bangalore, now offers another initiative – an Academy of Fitness Management.
Located in Kilpauk, AFM offers a golden opportunity for professionals and prospective incumbents in the health and fitness industry to acquire formal qualifications in fitness training and management.
AFM offers courses across three levels. Level 1 will be a basic course of three months duration and the eligibility criteria would be that the applicant should have completed either 10th standard or 12th standard examinations, besides completing 18 years of age.
This course is ideal for all those aspiring to become physical educational trainers. Level II and Level III offer a Diploma Course in Fitness Management and specialisation with research.
Graduation in any discipline is compulsory for the second level and completion of the first two levels are needed for enrolment in Level III. At present, Level I is being offered and the course is expected to commence from February 16.
