Aamir as a cut-out!
Aamir Khan is an actor who is known to stand by his convictions as far as work is concerned as also for not attending award functions because he believes they’re all rigged! At the recently held Star Screen Awards, to be telecast on Star Plus s
hortly, the organisers placed a huge cut-out of the actor from the film “Taare Zameen Par” that bagged 17 nominations at the function, to make up for his absence there! Each time his name was announced, the camera would focus on the cut-out placed amid the audience. Host Sajid ended up taking a dig at the actor’s non appearance during the award ceremony. The highlight of the evening was also the announcement of the Best Director Awards. For the first time, the award went to not just one, but two people, Aamir Khan for “Taare Zameen Par” and Shimit Amin for “Chak De Yaara”.
