Take a bite Indulge in that quiet restful meal

The H.M. Group has launched a new restaurant — In China — on Museum Road. No buffet is offered here, but you can experience a fine dining experience with some delicious Chinese cuisine stirred up by Chef Brando. “We have a few special delicacies, which I shall serve you. Like there is the low calorie poached prawn and steamed fish. But if people want something special for a large number of diners, then we prefer them to come to us two days in advance.”The pretty paintings and intelligent lighting make the place warm and cosy. The place is quite spacious, giving you enough privacy. The semi outdoor dining area where you have the perfect dim lights with a waterfall. We started off with steamed chicken fancy dumplings, prawns in chilli sauce and spicy crispy chicken. While there was nothing new flavour-wise, the dumplings topped the list, with their steamed exterior and generous quantities of meat, eggs and vegetables. Chef gave us the jade chicken soup next, which was simply brilliant. Generous helpings of noodles and fried rice were accompanied with lam quar lamb. This dish is served in a Japanese pumpkin, filled with lamb cooked in a spicy yellow bean sauce, vegetables and a few shreds of the pumpkin itself. So the dish is a curious blend of equally strong meat and the pumpkin flavour.

For desserts it was the traditional Chinese treasure bags with banana filling, with a sweet creamy sauce, which we found a bit too sweet. In China is worth a visit for the ambience, service and presentation which is a treat for the eyes.

In China is open from noon to 3.15 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. and can be contacted on 40001234.
