An eclectic mix of programmes on Star World awaits viewers this month

This February will be a month of non-stop drama and excitement on Star World. From a string of popular programmes such as Heroes, American Idol, Desperate Housewives and The O.C. to a host of new series which includes Love You To Death, Invasion and Bionic Woman, experience the best of English entertainment in your living room!

Watch how painful love can be when renowned cult film director John Waters steps out from behind the camera to take his first starring role as host in Love You To Death premiering on Star World on February 7, 10 p.m. As the tiny town of Homestead, Florida, struggles to rebuild itself after a devastating hurricane, a number of bizarre occurrences start taking place in their community. Catch the sci-fi action when Invasion premieres on Star World tomorrow (February 1) at 9 p.m.

Bionic Woman, the sci-fi series from the 1970s, premieres on Star World on February 5 at 10 p.m. Boasting cinema-worthy visuals, the series promises to captivate both fans of the old series as well as a new generation of viewers.

Star World presents a fresh season of Smallville as the journey of a hero restarts on February 23 at 9 p.m. You could also join the fight against crime with a new series of “Cops” as it premieres on the channel on February 11 at 11 p.m.

On February 11, Star World presents the live telecast of one of the most anticipated awards shows, the 50th Annual Grammy Awards, at 6. 30 a.m. with prime time broadcast at 8 p.m. Widely recognised as music’s most coveted prize, the Annual Grammy Awards honours the industry’s most gifted artists. Each year, the star-studded ceremony features performances from pop’s biggest acts and this year will be no exception. As a prelude to the Music’s Biggest Night, in a two-hour special feature you could catch a count down of the Top 25 favourite Grammy moments, as voted on by viewers, on My Night At the Grammys on February 8, 8 p.m.
