Fun time The characters decide to conquer boredom
Disney Channel will premiere its original animated series ‘Phineas and Ferb,’ an imaginative comedy from animation producers Dan Povenmire (‘Family Guy’) and Jeff ‘Swampy’ Marsh (‘The Simpsons’), in a m
onth-long global programming event entitled Phineas and Ferb-ruary, everyday at 11 a.m. throughout February.
The series will then feature in a Leap Year marathon on the channel on February 29. he animated comedy tells the story of step-brothers Phineas Flynn and Ferb Fletcher who set out to conquer boredom and make every day of their 104-day summer vacation count but their older sister, Candace, resolves to tattle on them to Mom and Dad.
As the series unfolds, Phineas and his stepbrother, Ferb, build a backyard beach complete with surf competition and create a new season – one with both sun and snow – called “swinter”all just outside their back door. They’re accompanied by Perry the Platypus, their seemingly mindless family pet. The series has funny and familiar charactersand a great combination of witty and physical humour.
