Lip-smacking The Amritsari food festival at Paatra restautant is on till February 10.
If you love Punjabi food, here is a fine opportunity to relish those delightful dishes being offered at the ‘Ambrasariyan da mashoor Ambrasari Food Festival’, now on at Jaypee Siddharth Hotel’s Paatra restaurant. Cooks from Amritsar
have been specially brought in to lend authenticity to the food. The festival offers both vegetarian and non-vegetarian Punjabi food.
Rara meat
You can choose from an array of lip-smacking dishes. In the appetisers you have the famous tikkis, Amritsari machchi, champ (mutton chops), seekhan (skewered minced kababs), tandoori paneer, magaz masala (lamb brain) and more. The main course has the rara meat (mutton), boti Amritsari (boneless mutton), the very popular butter chicken and tariwala murga. For vegetarians, there is the much-sought-after sarson da saag, aloo gobi, aloo launji and paneer kalimirch. The list goes on. Besides, they have a variety of rotis and paranthas on offer.
Inder Pal Singh, food and beverage Manager, Jaypee Siddharth says, “It was a good idea to hold an Amritsari Food Festival here because most of the people in the vicinity are Punjabis. We wanted to bring to the people good Amritsari food.” An Amritsari meal here approximately costs Rs.1500 per person excluding taxes.
The festival is on till February 10.
