Oscar fever

The countdown to the Oscars has begun and Star Movies and HBO will feature movies that have been honoured by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in the past. On February 2 at 11.05 p.m., watch “Pearl Harbour”, on February 3 at 11.30 p.m. watch “Con Air”, on February 4 at 11.25 p.m., “Penguins: A Love Story”.

Star Movies will also telecast live, the 80th Annual Academy Awards on February 25 at 6.30 a.m. with a prime time repeat on the same day at 8 p.m.

. Some of the movies that will debut in India are “Memoirs of a Geisha” and “Poseidon”. Award-winning Hollywood blockbusters “The Killing Fields”, “Brokeback Mountain”, “Philadelphia”, and thriller flick “Witness”.
