Season 3 of the popular dance reality show “Jodi No.1” on Vijay TV (Friday and Saturday, 8 p.m.) has started. The popular faces of Vijay TV’s other serials and shows such as‘Kana Kaanum Kaalangal’, ‘Madurai’, ‘Kadhalika Neramillai’, ‘EQ’ and ‘Lollu Sabha’ are the new jodis in “Jodi No.1”. With the introduction of 10 jodis in the previous weeks, they have now divided themselves into two teams - DD’s team and Deepak’s team. Every week jodis from one team will perform to popular songs. The judges are actor Sangeetha and actor-director S.J.Suryah. It is the first time that Suryah is judging a dance competition on television. He says: “I’m thrilled to be a judge on Jodi No.1”. He feels it is the perfect programme to make his debut on television and adds: “Television is an all-new experience for me. The reach of Jodi No. 1 is terrific; it also gives me a new platform to reach out to family audiences and the youth. I will be doing 16 episodes.”
