The good old annual Maruti Suzuki Storm Rally is here
|
An annual jamboree for the car rally enthusiasts, this year Maruti Suzuki Storm Rally will be flagged off from New Delhi’s National Stadium on March 15. Organised by Northern Motorsport this year the rally will take one across the sand dunes of
Rajasthan. Traversing a distance of over 2200 kms over four days, the rally will cover the scenic spots at Bikaner, Jaisalmer, Khimser and Jaipur.
Three categories
The rally has been classified into three categories: Trail, Excite and Explore. The Trail category is open only to specially rally prepared vehicles while the other two categories are for normal street vehicles. Excite version is only for 4WD vehicles and being run under navigation format. Explore is open for all car owners irrespective of brand and model and it would race as a single group. Standard entries are open till February 15 while team entries will close on March 10. For more information, visit the website desertstorm.
