Mattel Toys India Pvt. Ltd. has kick-started Barbie’s birthday celebrations with Barbie month on Pogo this month of February. The latest Barbie blockbuster movies will be aired every Thursday on “Lights, Camera, Barbie” at 4 p.m. an
d a repeat telecast will follow every Friday at 2.30 p.m.
A special contest will air till March 9 where girls can wish Barbie on this special occasion, and also share with her what they want to be in life when they grow up and can win the latest Barbie dolls and a complete new range of Barbie house and room-sets.
On February 14, “Barbie as The Island Princess” – the Valentine’s Day special, will see Barbie as Princess Rosella, who gets shipwrecked on an island and grows up unaware of her true identity.
On February 21, “Barbie & The 12 Dancing Princess” is a story filled with beautiful dance sequences choreographed and performed by the New York City Ballet, brought alive in animation via the latest motion-capture technology.
On February 28, “Barbie of Swan lake” will see Barbie starring as “Odette” a brave young girl, discovers that with confidence and determination each one of us has the power to transform the world.
