A Jodhpur Food Festival is on at Deccan Plaza

Deccan Plaza, (36, Royapettah High Road), hosts a Jodhpur Food Festival till February 24 at its multi-cuisine restaurant, Olives. Jodhpur, one of the beautiful tourist spots in Rajasthan, is known for its traditional and tasty food items.
Master chef Ajay Gupta has been specially flown in from Jodhpur to recreate some of the classic recipes of the region.
The buffet spread comprises only vegetarian delicacies such as dal churma, dal bati, gatti ki subzi, palaki kofta, khastha roti, misi roti, undiya, vegetable mappas, crumbly Jodhpuri parathas, rotis, panner butter masala and dal makkhani.
If you are in the mood for a complete meal, remember to ask for the Jodhpuri special served in traditional Jodhpuri style. Besides, there is a variety of pickles, sweets and deserts for you to choose from.
The buffet, open for dinner during week days (7 p.m. to 11 p.m.) and for lunch and dinner during weekends (Friday, Saturday and Sunday 12 noon to 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.), comes at a price of Rs. 275 plus taxes.
