Luciya Food Court, Palarivattom has opened a juice counter at the restaurant. The fresh juice counter is called ‘Mocktail Blast’. Those with an inclination for all things fruity can head there for concoctions of the fruity kind. None of t
he recipes, according to Hareesh Balagopal, have artificial flavours.
The names of the mocktail too have an imaginative twist. Names such as ‘Glacier’, ‘Pom Pom’, ‘Apple Snow’, ‘Citrus Magic’, ‘Dhoni’s Blast’ are bound to not just pique to curiosity but also make you thirsty on hot afternoons when the sun beats down upon you. The counter is open all through the day. And that is not all, if you are hungry after quenching your thirst then there are snacks to gorge on. You can take your pick from snacks such as French fried, burgers, sandwiches, cutlets etc. However for the health conscious there is a ‘twist’ – Miami Twist – water melon served the healthy way sans sugar and ice, the way it is supposed to be had.
The mocktails are an interesting blend of unlikely fruits such apple and orange (‘Apple Snow’), strawberry and golden grape (‘Lady in Red’), chikku and cream (‘Dhoni’s Blast’) among a list of many mouth-watering mocktails.
