Time for heart attacks!

There are many ways to express your love this Valentine’s Day

Come February it is time to woo your dearest. And with such fabulous weather to boot it is indeed time to cosy up to each other. But if you do not know how to convey your expressions of love this Valentine’s Day, don’t worry. There are a million ways to do it. You can buy those goody-goody love-laden chocolates or mouth-watering pastries, go to a restaurant for a quiet candlelight dinner, buy nice gifts that are dime a dozen in the bazaars or quite simply send a beautiful greeting card with a freshly plucked rose tucked into it – and rekindle that spark in your sweet relationship. And the market is of course ready and willing to meet all your demands.

There is nothing that appeals more to a woman than a piece of exquisite jewellery. Buy a solitaire ring from Gem Legacy at Square One Mall, Saket, or dig into the Sweet-heart collection of the jewellery boutique, Sparkling Hues, which also stacks rings, bracelets, studs, pendants and earrings, all packed in red heart shaped velvet boxes. If expense is no concern walk into Ravissant at New Friends Colony for stuff like anniversary rings, stackable bangles, bangle cuff, fashion necklaces, pendants and earrings at prices ranging from Rs.25000 to 472500. Traditionalists could try out the heart-shaped ring or the ruby ring from Mehrasons Jewellers.

Commitment ring

There is a ‘Commitment ring’, which highlights the bond of love, from Frazer & Haws’, while Adora has a ‘crown collection’ crafted in diamonds and 18-carat gold at prices starting Rs.12000 onwards. And for exclusive Murano heart pendants, Jewels by Anu at Greater Kailash could be a good try. The Craft House at The Metropolitan Hotel has a range of special mementoes like silver bracelet with garnet, silver heart pendant and earrings. Magppie has unique jewellery in steel ranging from pendants to cuff links. The heart pendant could be a unique gifting item. Debenhams, the famous department store from the U.K., has metallic heart shaped jewellery box, red herring pink necklace, etc. Swarovski has romantic pieces like elegant pendants, pierced earrings, ‘heart ornaments’ and more. Homeshop 18 has a whole range of exclusive heart shaped jewellery ranging from pendants to earrings, embedded with diamonds and unique stones in a variety of colours and designs. Besides its trademark greeting cards, Archies has a range of stylish jewellery and heart shaped gifts and soft toys.

For those who give ‘time’ their priority, Watches and More stores across the country have great offers on fashion watches on brands like Esprit Time Wear, Pierre Cardin Swiss, Cerruti 1881 and fashion jewellery brands like BEE VEE Steel, Rochet bijoux, Tanya Rossi, Petals, etc. Pierre Kunz offers a cute Valentine gift in the form of a ladies’ watch, Ladies Cupidon model 102 STR, with a dial with a heart in its centre in a choice of colours and materials. The hour and minute hands perfectly match the theme of love and they too are decorated with hearts!
