FOR YOUNG CROWD No dish is priced above Rs. 49

“This is something new for the local young yuppies,” said Chef Richard Graham at the launch of the new fast food joint ‘Chak-le Saiba’ at the food court of the Empire Mall on M.G. Road.

What he didn’t mention of course is that his employers, Hangyo Hospitality, have managed to put together a stereotype-shattering option for the city’s youth.

The fare which is made up of waffles, burgers, wraps, cakes, pastries and creamy shakes is the kind that doesn’t cost a king’s ransom.

None of the dishes are priced above Rs. 49.

“No more saving up for weeks to take my girlfriend out on a date,” said Latif Ahmed, a teenager in one of the city colleges.
