Spring in the air

The Garden Tourism Festival is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year.

Delhi Tourism in association with the Union Ministry of Tourism, has been organising the festival with the objective of creating awareness about environment conservation and for the promotion of floriculture and to welcome the arrival of spring.

A large number of plants in different categories including potted plants, foliage, medicinal and herbal plants are on display besides theme gardens set up by various horticulture departments and corporate houses.

The ongoing festival will conclude on Sunday. It is spread across 20 acres at the Garden of Five Senses, Said-ul-Ajaib, beyond Saket in South Delhi.
