With the addition of four screens, Mayajaal is now the largest multiplex in Tamil Nadu

MOVIES AND MOREEntrance to Mayajaal

Mayajaal, a leading entertainment and hospitality company in South India for over 10 years, has inaugurated 4 new screens at its landmark Family Entertainment Center (FEC) located on its 27-acre property, off East Coast Road.

With this new addition, the number of screens at Mayajaal has increased to 10, making it the largest multiplex in Tamil Nadu, and one of the largest in Asia. With this expansion, Mayajaal in addition to screening the regular blockbusters in Tamil, Hindi and English is expected to screen films in an array of regional languages such as Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada. This is to attract more viewers from Chennai and Puducherry. There is also an additional food court serving a variety of Indian and international fast food. Cuisines range from North Indian, South Indian, Chettinad, Chinese, Thai and Continental. A new multi-purpose auditorium with a seating capacity of 250 will serve as a venue for business meetings and family functions. There is also a new shopping mall ‘Maya Mall’ which showcases apparel for men, women and children, cosmetics, fashion jewellery, books, movies and music, gifts and toys.

Mayajaal’s on-shore resort has 50 rooms. The sports village on the property has two cricket grounds where the Indian Cricket League (ICL) holds tournaments on a regular basis. One of the highlights is the car parking facility, which can accommodate more than 1,100 cars.

Udeep B. CEO, Mayajaal, says, “With its 10-screen multiplex, food court, shopping mall, sports club and a resort with conference halls – all within 27-acres, Mayajaal provides visitors with a unique opportunity to access a range of entertainment under one roof. Such a product mix is rare in this part of Asia.”

The facility was recently inaugurated by actor ‘Chiyan’ Vikram.
