Take the leap

Valentine’s Day came with a twist this time around as the D-day fell on a leap year. It is believed that if a guy is proposed to on this day, he cannot but say “yes”. Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM grabbed the opportunity to hold an event cal led “Lagi Rahi Munnibai.”

As part of the event, girls who proposed to their love-interest in the most innovative way won a gift voucher from Avenue Montaigne, CDs of romantic songs, night cub passes and other gifts. The show was held at Sri Venkateshwara College, PVR-Priya, Infinity Towers, Gurgaon, and Gold Souk, Gurgaon . The RJs from Radio Mirchi were part of the banter all day long. Even married couples professed their love for each other on the show. Monty and Sukanya, a couple who participated in the show, said, “Guys are always expected to ask the girl out. This show has made girls come forward.”
