Admissions are open for diploma classes in acting

Alchemy South India’s first Professional School for Acting and Modelling has announced the commencement of admissions for the following two courses: 1 year diploma in acting (part-time ) with ten seats only and the 1month certificate course o
n acting for the camera (part time ) with 20 seats only.
Admissions will be granted after a round of audition and personal interviews. Fluency of speech in any one of the following languages is necessary: Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada or Hindi. The course is structured keeping in mind the placement opportunities for the candidates in the film, advertisement and the television serial industry. The industry today is looking for acting talents in various age groups. The Alchemy program offers a well-crafted curriculum of what is expected in the industry. Topics such as expression, observation skill, voice modulation, dialogue delivery, memory power, group reaction, spontaneous reaction, photoshoot modelling, advertisement film modelling, camera angles, etc will be dealt with.
Alchemy not only provides the tools necessary to succeed in the world of entertainment, it acts as a personal manager working to promote and market the talent, thereby maximising one’s exposure to modelling agencies, print publications, directors, film and television agencies. Placement facilities will be organised upon successful completion of the training program.
The 1 year diploma commences from March 17 and the 1 Month Certificate Course commences from March 3 respectively. Auditions and registrations for both courses are presently on.
